It is used for washing of commonly soiled KEG barrels and their subsequent filling with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The NM KEG series machines are fully automatic and are manufactured in all stainless steel design. Functionality is verified by evaluating data from the DataKeg control device.
Description of KEG keg washers and fillers
The entire washing and filling process is controlled by a programmable control system type SIEMENS SIMATIC S7, which is located in a stainless steel switchboard. Washing takes place in several steps
1. pushing the rest of the old drink from the keg to the canal
2. pulsating jet of mixed water
3. pulsating jet of detergent
4. pulsating jet of hot water up to zero conductivity
5. steam sterilization
6. blowing of the barrel and subsequent pressurization of CO2
- the filling of the barrel is carried out by means of a calibrated flow meter and is divided into several phases
- great emphasis is given to the sterility of the process, namely the steam sterilization of the filling head before and after each keg filling
7. washing the fittings of the filled barrel with hot water
8. spraying the fittings of the filled barrel with disinfectant
